If Hogwarts Legacy’s unprecedented sales have proven anything it’s that adapting the Harry Potter IP to an open-world action-RPG with a custom character creator was highly favorable. It wouldn’t be surprising to learn that Hogwarts Legacy was originally intended as a one-off due to how much Avalanche packed into it, and yet if there are sequels planned there is still quite a lot that can be added, iterated on, or improved to make Hogwarts Legacy 2’s impact equally considerable.
