There's one tweak that Civilization 7 could make with its leaders that could turn the entire metagame on its head. While a lot of mechanics in the Civilization games have been shuffled around, changing the way that leaders work would probably be one of the most major changes that Civilization 7 could make. After all, their role is one of the most consistent across the franchise. Considering how important the player's leader choice is, perhaps that shouldn't be a surprise. However, Civilization 7 could introduce a way to shake up the dynamic for leaders in the game.
