Since Skull and Bones was initially conceived as a spin-off of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, it is no surprise that the two games share a ton of similarities. Many of the mechanics feel alike, the world looks pretty similar, and even the pirate aspects seem to be copy-and-pasted. While Skull and Bones may not do everything right, the Black Flag features it expanded really help deliver some of that pirate fantasy players have been craving for the past decade.
