This game made a lot of changes as a full-on remake and one of the biggest involves the battle system. Elemental weaknesses still play a huge role but players can now use a mechanic called Shift to switch spots with characters after exposing said weaknesses. There are also Final Fantasy-inspired Limit Break-like techniques called Theurgies in Persona 3 Reload.
