Pokemon GO rarely focuses on two monsters in a Spotlight Hour event, but this time around, Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew are both featured. Sandshrew is a Ground-type Pokemon and Alonan Sandshrew is a dual Ice and Steel-type Pokemon, and both of these variants experience an increased spawn rate during the event. Players also get a Special Bonus for participating in the Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew Spotlight Hour.
