Hitting the scene all the way back in October 2020, Die by the Blade has had a rather interesting history so far. A Kickstarter project that received 100% of its initial funding in just 16 days, Die by the Blade immediately caught the attention of fighting game fans, with its core one-hit-kill premise sounding incredibly novel at the time. Die by the Blade then received its first proper reveal trailer in September 2021, followed by another gameplay trailer in September 2022, where a November 2023 release date was cemented.
