Following the 1987 hit movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Predator became one of the most iconic monsters in movie history. This terrifying and intelligent alien creature quickly rose in popular culture, with Predator 2 following in 1990. With the success of these movies, an entire franchise was born. A line of comic books would soon follow, most notably the popular Alien Vs Predator series, as well as a long line of video games.
