Persona is one of the greatest JRPG series of all time, making it a little hard to believe that it actually originated as a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series. Persona 3 marked a massive shift in the series, with the title featuring life sim elements along with a healthy dose of dungeon crawling that players can engage with at their own pace.
