Players are likely to discover a Necklace with Two Holes while exploring Resident Evil Village, but they will need to find more gems to complete it.

Resident Evil Village is full of secrets to discover and fun features to unlock. Some unlockable cost a great amount of in-game currency, and don't even became available until after completing a first playthrough. Players who hunt down many treasures to sell for money will have a better shot at buying insanely powerful weapons from The Duke, like the S.T.A.K.E magnum handgun. That's why it's important to know how to find and complete the Necklace with Two Holes in Resident Evil Village. Slotting in the additional gems to complete the adornment will shoot its monetary value through the roof.

The Necklace with Two Holes can initially be obtained upon returning to the village after defeating Lady Dimitrescu and escaping her castle. With the Iron Insignia Key in hand, it's possible to explore new places. Behind a locked gate in the village is a shack containing the Well Wheel key item. A short jaunt over to the village church will lead players to a well that can be interacted with using the Well Wheel. What's brought up from the depths is the incomplete Necklace with Two Holes.

The necklace can be sold to the Duke right away, but doing so would not be a good idea. If the two holes are filled with the matching gems, the value of the treasure will increase dramatically. Players won't be able to complete the Necklace with Two Holes right away, though. The gems are actually hidden in a couple very secretive locations that can only be accessed much later in the game, after defeating Lord Moreau. Patient gamers will be rewarded with a whopping 50,000 Lei when they sell the complete Dimitrescu's Necklace to the Duke, so it's worth the wait indeed.

It won't be possible to find the gems for the Necklace with Two Holes until the Crank is obtained from the boss fight against Moreau. With the third lord defeated and the Crank in hand, players can return to the village proper and do some treasure hunting. The first gem, the Pigeon Blood Ruby, is hidden away in the East Old Town area. Using the Crank, players can access the area behind the southwestern-most house. After climbing a ladder propped up against the cliff and following a short path, the Pigeon Blood Ruby can be found in an ornate chest sitting upon a rooftop.

To the west of the Altar, after passing along the Lone Road, players can find an old drawbridge. With the Crank, this drawbridge can finally be lowered. There will be a boat that can take the player back to a house they came across after defeating Dimitrescu and leaving the castle. Near the house is a well that held no purpose during the first visit. Now with the Well Wheel in hand, players can interact with it to discover a secret underground tunnel.

Within the tunnel, players will find a puzzle that must be solved. This is far from being one of the more complicated puzzle rooms in the game, so it should be a cinch. A series of wooden platforms can be moved using a switchboard above. Hitting the two white switches and changing them to green will cause the platforms to be placed in the correct positions. After that, the player will have to move to the opposite end of the room and push the two mine carts. This will create a new platform that can be used to climb to where the Large Pigeon Blood Ruby awaits.

After combining the original necklace with one gem from the Treasures menu, it becomes the Necklace with One Hole. Slotting in both gems will form the completed Dimitrescu's Necklace. The treasure can be sold to the Duke for 50,000 Lei in its final form. This hefty transaction could be just the push that players need to earn their Lucky Number 7 trophy/achievement. It will also put hardcore fans much closer to grabbing some powerful endgame weapons that could be necessary for challenging the difficult Village of Shadows mode.

Resident Evil Village is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
