Fans of this series first got a whiff of Final Fantasy 7 getting a remake in 2005 when a PS3 trailer showcase was released as a tech demo. That’s all it was though, a tech demo, and yet fans demanded it to be real. Finally, after many years of waiting, the teaser trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake was unleashed in 2015 followed by a launch long after in 2020.
