Most Halo characters fall into one of two categories. They're either combatants or non-combatants. Halo season two found a compelling thematic purpose in drawing lines between Master Chief as a combatant and the man under the armor. While the most dangerous characters tend to meet on battlefields, Admiral Margaret Parangosky demonstrates the destructive potential of shrewd political games. She's less impressive in the Halo show.
