Hogwarts Legacy was one of the bestselling games of 2023, and it continues to retain its popularity in 2024. It had a staggered release, launching on PC and PS5 first in February, PS4 and Xbox One in May, then finally on the Switch on November 14. With ten months between the first and last launch, there wasn't much surprise left for Switch players.
