Superhero video games, much like superhero films, have taken on a genre all their own. They may fall under the wider umbrella of open-world or RPG titles, but few experiences can replicate the feeling of taking down criminals as Batman or swinging through New York City as Spider-Man. Many iconic comic heroes have been given some kind of gaming experience over the years, but few have had the opportunity to shine bright in a solo adventure. Green Lantern is one such hero, and as one of DC's biggest names, his lack of a modern AAA title grows more perplexing by the day.
