Alan Rickman's portrayal of Snape showed a remarkable depth to the former Headmaster and Defence Against the Dark Arts professor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. However, perhaps an integral part of Snape's personification isn't just his overall role in the story of Harry's life, but also his skills as a wizard.
