In light of advancements made in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto Online, Red Dead Redemption 3 needs to make one move to stay on track. The Red Dead Redemption games have so far offered some of Rocksar's best gameplay, so Red Dead Redemption 3 already has a high bar to clear. This is only heightened by Grand Theft Auto Online's continued updates, as well as whatever Grand Theft Auto 6 will do is only raising the bar higher. While Red Dead Redemption 3 needs to innovate, it also can't afford to drop much from its predecessor.
