Dragon's Dogma 2 stays true to the formula of its predecessor in a multitude of ways, including its vocations. Most of Dragon's Dogma 2's vocations have been carried over from the first game, but there are a few new classes that are worth recognition. Among those new classes are the Thief, the Trickster, and the Warfarer, all of which have their merits and can be useful in a variety of situations. However, another new class in Dragon's Dogma 2 arguably rises above them all in its versatility and unique gameplay never before experienced in the Dragon's Dogma franchise — the Mystic Spearhand.
