Unlike its 2020 predecessor and the PS1 classic on which it was based, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth features a crafting system. With the help of a special device given to them by Broden during the game's opening stages, players can transmute just about every consumable item imaginable, as well as a plethora of armor and accessories to help prepare their party for the battles to come.
