The latest rumor, and one of the most intriguing so far, comes from renowned leaker Dusk Golem, who stated that Resident Evil 9—along with Monster Hunter Wilds—is building on the same tech behind the recently released Dragon's Dogma 2, suggesting that the next Resident Evil entry could be an open-world game.
