In Dragon's Dogma 2 the best Heavy Armor tends to offer a lot of raw physical defensive stats but not much in the way of Magick Defense, Elemental Resistances, or other special effects. As its name suggests, DD2 Heavy Armor also tends to weigh more than the other two unofficial armor types in the game.
