With a new series on the horizon, Code Geass is poised to continue the comeback that began with the dawn of its alternate timeline. While the original anime had a conclusive finale years ago, the events of the film trilogy that started in 2017 and the sequels it has spawned now take place in a different continuity which supports further plot developments. Now that the upcoming Roze of the Recapture is set to focus on a new cast and protagonist on top of what has been established, Code Geass has grown into an anime IP worthy of a proper video game adaptation.
