With The Sims 4 now nearly a decade old and the franchise as a whole edging up on its 25th anniversary, many fans of the acclaimed life simulation series are already looking forward to its next entry. While the next game in the series, currently dubbed Project Rene, is sure to offer players plenty of new ways to customize their Sims, long-time fans of the franchise know that the series’ built-in families often offer some of The Sims’ most entertaining moments. Rather than limit itself to fan favorites like the Goth Family for Project Rene, though, EA should delve into its back catalog and add some classic gaming characters to the neighborhood.
