The Sims franchise has become one of the leading titles in the simulation genre. Since 2000, the series has spawned a variety of titles that offer players the chance to build an interesting second life. Thanks to this popularity, The Sims is now set to get a movie based around the franchise. Although a movie based around The Sims seems like a surprising choice, there will be plenty of opportunity for Project Rene, the next entry in the series, to capitalize on the film.
