The history of Westeros paints quite an account of Queen Alysanne Targaryen's she-dragon, Silverwing. The serpentine beast would fly alongside King Jaehaerys I Targaryen's Vermithor and coil in the skies of the Seven Kingdoms. Both the dragons were left riderless in the aftermath of their deaths, and laired in the smoking caverns of the Dragonmont.
