There are a whole host of different kinds of materials that players will collect during their time with Subnautica: Below Zero, but one important item is needed relatively early on for certain crafting recipes. Creepvine Seed Clusters are a requirement for making the basic crafting material called Silicone Rubber. Creepvine Seed Clusters have other uses as well, but this is the first thing that players will need it for, which in turn is also a requirement for making the survival knife, another very important item. Despite its importance, it isn't abundantly clear how to get even after the player manages to find some Creepvine.
Subnautica: Below Zero promises that players will be diving deeper than ever before, but that isn't going to be possible without some basic tools. Some of the most vital items require Creepvine Seed Clusters as a basic material, so it's very important to learn where and how to get it.

The first step to getting Creepvine Seed Clusters is finding some Creepvine. This plant spawns in the Arctic Kelp Forest biome where the player starts the game, so it shouldn't be too hard to locate. It's also easy to spot, as it looks like a long stalk of kelp reaching up towards the surface. Players that approach this plant will notice that there doesn't seem to be any way to harvest its seeds, however. To get around this, players will need to swim back a bit and look at the plant from afar instead.
In order to harvest Creepvine Seed Clusters, players will need to find the red bulbous seed pods growing out from the vine. This is typically located in the middle of the plant as opposed to at the top or the bottom, and players should be able to find it thanks to its distinctive red glow. Harvesting these doesn't require any special tools, so players should be able to pick them up right away. Do keep in mind that they take up quite a bit of inventory space, however, so players won't be able to carry too many back with them all at once.
As previously mentioned, there are a lot of things players can do with Creepvine Seed Clusters. For starters, they can be eaten, but this isn't recommended since they only provide +10 H20. They can also be used to craft Silicone Rubber from the start of the game, and later on in Subnautica: Below Zero more recipes will require them including Lubricant, Hydraulic Fluid, and a Pathfinder Tool.
Subnautica: Below Zero is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
