Releasing all the way back in October 2013, Grand Theft Auto Online is now well over a decade old, and it's still making an absurd amount of money. On top of reportedly selling around 200 million copies in its lifetime, Grand Theft Auto 5 and its online component have also managed to continue raking in cash consistently over the last decade via its in-game currency, and the microtransactions associated with it. According to the latest statistics, it's generally believed that GTA 5 and GTA Online have both made around $7.7 billion over the last 10 years, and now Rockstar has found even more ways to profit from the game.
