Amy Poehler's Inside Out character Joy is one of the most crucial emotions in young Riley Andersen's (Kaitlyn Diaz) mind. When the Pixar movie was released in 2015, it offered a compelling look at the different emotions that everyone feels, sometimes even on a daily basis. When Riley relocates from Minnesota to San Francisco, Riley is scared and nervous, and Joy is in charge of the command center in her brain. In Inside Out 2, Joy will also help Riley work through her feelings and stressors.
