Soulcalibur is a big-name fighting franchise, and the series has featured several modes that helped to elevate their respective games. Even though its star hasn't shined as bright as fellow Namco fighter Tekken in recent years, Soulcalibur still has its own following and is plenty of fun in its own right. One thing that a potential Soulcalibur 7 would need is a unique game mode that lives up to the standard set by previous single-player efforts in the series. A lot of these game modes deserve a second look to explain just what made them so entertaining.
