The Mechanic's Best Friend is a melee weapon in Fallout 76 that is perfect for quick moves and dodging enemy attacks as swiftly as possible. Unlike a lot of melee weapons in the game, however, you can only get Mechanic's Best Friend through one particular vendor that frequently moves around the map.
