There are so many franchises under Nintendo's belt, but it's always surprising when a well-liked series never makes the jump to home consoles.

Nintendo has a lot of franchises under its belt that they havent touched in a while. For example, there are two StarTropics games on the NES and thats all there ever was. It never made the jump to another console or even a portable.
