The live-service shooter does not try to offer a simulator-like war experience, a rabbit hole of a progression system, hardware-encumbering graphics, or wallet-busting microtransactions. What it offers is pure chaos with gameplay systems that are welcoming to both casual and hardcore players. That is why Helldivers 2 has reached numerous milestones in only three months with more accolades on the horizon.
