The Gorosei have been incredibly important in the Egghead Island arc, much to the surprise of the fans. No fan of the story was expecting for the Five Elders to be present on Egghead at all. It was a shocking turn of events when, shortly before Vegapunk's message was revealed to the entire world, the Five Elders decided to make an appearance in an attempt to stop the broadcast.
