Sonic Rumble, a new multiplayer Sonic the Hedgehog game, has finally been confirmed following months of leaks and rumors. The past few years have been an exciting time for fans of Segas super-fast platforming mascot, with plenty of Sonic the Hedgehog games, tie-in media, and social media events either released or announced. The most recent game was Sonic Dream Team, a mobile spin-off that launched on Apple Arcade in December. Sega has also announced a special Year of Shadow campaign, celebrating Sonic the Hedgehogs dark anti-hero ahead of his big-screen debut later this year.
