Sonic has become one of gaming's most recognizable and iconic mascots ever since he first made his debut on the Sega Genesis in 1991. Since then, there have been a plethora of excellent Sonic games that fans have fallen in love with, alongside a few that, despite being hotly anticipated, never quite reached the same quality as some of the classics.
