In the original Hades, players would run into special characters that would offer special boons that were different from those offered by the Olympians. Hades 2 brings this mechanic back, but greatly increases the number of these encounters for Melino to find. One of the most powerful of these characters, Medea, is found on the surface, in the City of Ephyra.
