While small monsters are easy to slash down using the most basic of weapons, Monster Hunter Now players will need to unlock other weapons that come with elemental advantages in order to take down larger monsters. Large monsters arrive semi-frequently in the game and have star ratings above their heads, with one being the weakest of the bunch and going up to five gold stars before breaching the purple star rating. Players looking to take down the stronger versions of these large monsters in Monster Hunter Now will need to come prepared.
