After three and a half years, Genshin Impact is finally increasing its resin cap, as players will now be able to accumulate up to 200 Original Resin instead of 160. While Fontaine has famously brought several quality-of-life updates to Genshin Impact, players have long clamored for HoYoverse to increase the resin cap. Original Resin is a currency that players spend in order to obtain rewards from certain activities taking out bosses, clearing out domains, or completing a Ley Line Outcrop. This currency passively regenerates at a speed of one Original Resin every eight minutes, and can even be stored in the form of a Condensed Resin for every 40 units that the player has.
