Dragon's Dogma 2 was once one of the most anticipated games of 2024 and, for the most part, it has garnered positive feedback from the gaming community. Despite some initial controversy surrounding its microtransactions and poor optimization, it has overcome the odds and is generally viewed as an improvement on its predecessor's formula. As it turns out, most of the microtransaction-related controversy was based on misinformation and its optimization problems have since been resolved. Despite its success in dealing with these issues, Dragon's Dogma 2 hasn't been able to put the fire out of all of its controversies, especially when it comes to one of its most prominent features.
