As players explore the seedy town of Rogueport in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, they'll eventually come across the bright, flashy casino known as Pianta Parlor. Located at the western end of town, it's an establishment run by Don Pianta and the Pianta Syndicate, where players can risk their hard-earned coins on various minigames. On first arrival, Mario can trade in his coins for the proprietary currency, piantas, and try his luck at the two spinning match games. However, patrons and employees of the parlor talk about other games that can earn players even more piantas, but only if they happen to have a Member's Card.
