Week 38 of Marvel's Avengers is here and players can take part in these missions and challenges to earn some item rewards and XP this week.

The two week Rooskaya Protocols event wrapped up yesterday in Marvel's Avengers, but the excitement is far from over. In its absence, the new Red Room Takeover event has started and players have some serious challenges in their way if they visit the HARM room in the coming days. In addition to the limited time event, yesterday also marked the rotation of the usual weekly Priority Tasks and Challenges.

The new Red Room event officially kicked off officially on May 20 and is going to be running over the next two weeks. The rewards up for grabs should be plenty of motivation to get some players logging in and racing through the content while it is live. While Marvel's Avengers fans are logging into the game to take care of those tasks over the coming week, they should take some time to complete the usual weekly tasks and challenges, as well.

The week 38 rotation is offering players a chance to complete the usual amount of low or high level challenges to claim some guaranteed rewards. The incentives can be pretty useful for players who haven't hit max power level yet, but thanks to the new Champion System the XP rewards are going to be useful for everyone for a while. It makes sense to get the week started with the HARM and Priority Missions and earn those rewards first before moving on to the event's more challenging tasks.

The majority of endgame heroes are likely very familiar with all of the different modifiers that the game rotates through by this point and have hopefully figured out how to adjust their strategy to successfully power through the weekly grind without any real problems. This week is built around content that players should be used to at this point and the rotating challenges deliver some fresh motivation to revisit existing missions thanks to guaranteed rewards.

The missions that are up for grabs this week offer some unique challenges and require a bit of strategy thanks to special modifiers that players will have to adjust to. Take careful note of the modifiers listed here before diving in head first...

Collider

"The Mega Hive is a single-player chain of eight missions that tests your team’s might. Each week you’ll have a shot at completing the Mega Hive mission chain. When you defeat all eight missions, the Mega Hive mission chain is removed from the War Table until the next weekly refresh, when you can run it again with new modifiers."

Weekly Rewards: As you progress through the Mega Hive, rewards start as basic gear, resources, and small amounts of cosmetic currency. The more missions you survive, the more resource drops increase. As you near the final mission, you’ll see better gear and artifacts awarded more often, as well as increased chances for patterns/nameplates. When you complete all eight Mega Hive missions you’ll be rewarded with exclusive goodies reserved for this gauntlet, including a significant amount of high-quality resources.

Famine

Clash

Heavyweight

Bane

Note: After a two week break, the Mega Hive is back! Take note of the above modifiers before heading into the challenge.

That should be just about everything players need to know to prepare for the current week's challenges. Completing the tasks while starting on the Red Room event challenges is a good tactic, so players should make sure to dive in and earn those rewards.
