One excited Pokemon player is making their own custom Mega Evolution concepts in preparation for the mechanics return in the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Mega Evolutions were introduced in Pokemon X and Y and grant the Pokemon using them a powerful new form with special abilities that they normally cant access. Unlike normal Pokemon evolutions that are permanent and triggered by fulfilling various conditions, Mega Evolutions only last as long as a battle and require the Pokemon in question to be holding a specific item called a Mega Stone.
