Developer Weta Workshop is currently at work producing the upcoming Hobbit life simulator Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game. Set in the world of the Lord of the Rings books, players will be able to live the ideal life of a Hobbit. This includes completing tasks such as farming, fishing, and decorating Hobbit-holes in the emerging Hobbiton village of Bywater. While Tales of the Shire is expected to be released sometime in 2024, theres already potential for the game to explore other parts of Middle-earth with future DLCs.
