Many film and video game fans have expressed a sense of fatigue for superhero releases after being bombarded with new content for over a decade, as DC and Marvel compete for supremacy over the genre. With that said, the likes of Marvel's Spider-Man and DC's Batman are still producing titles that are being highly anticipated and well-received, which begs the question as to whether the community really is done with new supers on their screens.
