Starting with the launch of Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail, players who focus on the main story will have a new option to hide other characters surrounding specific NPCs, making interaction and loading easier. In addition, Final Fantasy 14 will make total party wipes in dungeons faster to recover from, as the dungeon shortcut function will be changed to significantly cut the travel time required to return to a boss arena.
