Rumors have long persisted that game developer 343 Industries and Certain Affinity were making a Battle Royale mode for Halo Infinite codenamed Tatanka. Some rumors even went as far as to suggest this Battle Royale mode would become a separate Halo game entirely. No details on an official Halo Infinite Battle Royale have been released and insiders claimed the rumored Certain Affinity Halo project was canceled in January. Despite these rumors, the Forge development team, The Forge Falcons, have taken it upon themselves to create a Battle Royale mode within Halo Infinite.
