Trover Saves the Universe, the wacky 2019 platformer that could only have come from the mind of Justin Roiland, also exudes the Rick and Morty co-creator's visual flair. Fans of the vibrant cartoon art style should be happy to hear that there is more Trover Saves the Universe content on its way, this time in the form of an art book from publisher Dark Horse.
The book will feature art, concept designs, and insights from Justin Roiland himself throughout its 192 pages, and is set to retail for $39.99. Based on Dark Horse's history with publishing video game-centric comics and books, including an art book for Metal Gear Solid a few years ago, fans can be sure to expect a ton of never before seen material in the Trover Saves the Universe Art Book.

First released in 2019 in both a VR and a standard edition, Trover Saves the Universe puts players in control of an alien named Trover in a mission to save his dogs and prevent the destruction of the universe. The game features the art style and vocal talent of Justin Roiland, who more recently voiced his two most famous characters in the Rick and Morty PlayStation 5 commercial.
While Justin Roiland has worked on other video games, including Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality, Trover Saves the Universe is his first to get an official art book. Dark Horse has also published books featuring the art and concept designs for games such as Cuphead, Doom Eternal, and Super Mario Odyssey.
The Trover Saves the Universe Art Book will be released on July 28, 2021.
