Ever since he burst on to screens in Dragon Ball Z: Broly The Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly has become a major figure in Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball franchise as a whole. After featuring in two more Dragon Ball Z movies, a new version of Broly was given a feature film introduction in the Dragon Ball Super continuity, through the release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly in 2018.
