There are several special limited-time events that pop up in Fallout 76. One of those events is called Scrip Surplus. Scrip Surplus Weekends allows players to hand in 1000 Scrip daily instead of 500. Players turn in their unwanted legendary weapons and armor pieces at Legendary Vending Machines in exchange for Scrip.
