Riot Games has opened closed alpha test sign-ups for 2XKO, the fighting game based on the developer's League of Legends franchise. Originally revealed as Project L, this League of Legends fighting game is one way of expanding the IP into other ventures. The game was first revealed in 2019, showing off a 2v2 tag-team-based fighting system, similar to the Marvel vs. Capcom series or Arc System Works' Dragon Ball FighterZ or BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. 2XKO features a number of familiar playable champions from League of Legends, like Ekko, Ahri, and Yasuo in its roster.
