Ubisoft Toronto has been hit with a round of layoffs, continuing the recent plague of layoffs that has affected the industry ever since the start of 2023. Ubisoft Toronto is another branch of the expansive developer, which led the development of games like Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Starlink: Battle for Atlas. The studio recently announced that it would be partnering with Ubisoft Montreal to work on the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake. Shortly after this announcement, the studio has been hit with layoffs.
