There are two advanced jobs in Octopath Traveler 2 that don't gain skills the way every other job does: the Inventor and the Armsmaster. Instead of spending JP to gain new skills and unlock support buffs, the only way to fully unlock these jobs is by finding items in the world and bringing them back to the job giver.
